JYOTI 1605 designates a solvent-free, low viscous, epoxy based trickle resin. Furthermore, this combination is noted for its very good penetration, especially for windings with thin wires. JYOTI HARDENER 1762 is a polyamine with a slightly yellow and transparent appearance and a low physiological effectiveness. Curing of the resin compound is a polyaddition reaction, which occurs under the effect of heat until a duroplastic cured material is produced. Polymerisation is initiated by mixing the two components and under the effect of heat proceeds as a rapid chain-reaction until a three-dimensionally cross-linked, duroplastic cured material is produced. The material does not contain by recipe substances listed in Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive (2002/95/EC).
AREAS OF APPLICATION : HARDENER 1762 HARDNER
Preferred applications for JYOTI 1605 trickle resin combined with JYOTI HARDENER 1762:
- Repair shops
- Windings of machines with high chemical requirements
- Armatures of hand tools, household machines, universal motors, etc.
PROPERTIES OF CURED MATERIAL
After curing there is a hard cured material, which is noted for its exceptional adhesion to various materials. The cured material also displays very good resistance to tropical influences, solvents, weak lyesalkalies as well as oil and allows impregnated objects to be used even under extreme conditions.
The high bonding strength of this combination imparts good mechanical stability to the impregnated windings. The combination JYOTI 1605 plus JYOTI HARDENER 1762 can be used for machines in thermal class B (130̊C). Owing to low volume shrinkage this combination also cures without cracks in thick layers and can thus also be used to protect the windings, e.g. from carbon brush abrasion or abrasive dusts. JYOTI 1605 + JYOTI HARDENER 1762 due to its high bond strength offers increased resistance to centrifugal forces for large size armatures, thus preventing wire shifting & improving its life.
