Epoxy Gel Coat (Red) is a specially formulated compound having thyrotrophic consistency. It is used in combination with room temperature curing Hardener JYOTI 1411. The curing of resin compound is a polyaddition reaction, which occurs at room temperature.
Epoxy Gel Coat (Red) + Hardener JYOTI 1411 is a slower curing system with elastic cured mass. Epoxy Gel Coat is also available black & white color on request
AREAS OF APPLICATION : HARDENER 1411 HARDNER
Application of Epoxy Gel Coat (Red) in combination with Hardener JYOTI 1411 are finishing coat over exposed winding of electrical machines up to class B (130oC) for improved resistance to moisture, chemicals.
PROPERTIES OF CURED MATERIAL
The system is characterized by good adhesion to most organic and inorganic materials. The hard cure shows good mechanical electrical properties & excellent chemical & humidity resistant.
APPLICATION METHOD
Epoxy Gel Coat (Red) with Hardener JYOTI 1411 can be applied by brush or spray. Thinner 1221 additions is necessary to adjust the viscosity for a particular application. Further details on application of Epoxy Gel Coat (Red) are given in the table.
