Description
BHARATCOL P-180 Adhesiveis room temperature curing adhesive with a syrupy consistency. It is water soluble PVA based resin. The material does not contain by recipe substances listed in Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive (2002/95/EC)
Areas of Application
As an insulating adhesive it can be usedin construction of oil filled power and distribution transformers. BHARATCOL P-180 Adhesive is also suggested for gluing cotton tape, hand boards, laminated wood and similar fibrousmaterials.
Properties of cured material
The cured film of BHARATCOL P-180 is resistant to transformer oil andchlorinated diphenyl.
Application Methods
BHARATCOL P-180 can be applied by brush or spatula. Viscosity of BHARATCOL P-180 Adhesive can be reduced by addition of distilled water depending upon the desired application.

Recommended Curing Cycle :
4- 8 at room temperature.
To obtain good dielectric properties and resistance to transformer oil and chlorinated diphenyl it is necessary to post cure BHARATCOL P-180 Adhesive for 2-4 h at 100-1100Cand/or dry it under vacuum.
The suggested curing time is after the unit attains the specified temperature.

Packaging
Safe Handling
BHARATCOL P-180 Adhesiveis a flammable liquid. Use foam, CO2 or dry chemical powder for fire fighting. Inhalation and direct contact with the skin should be avoided. In case of contact, the affected area should be washed with soap and plenty of water. For further details ask for our material safety data sheet 2-15.
